The death penalty is a failed, discriminatory punishment, wasting resources that could expand mental health treatment, drug intervention and gun violence prevention. But Sacramento District Attorney Thien Ho continues to seek death sentences.

ICE OUT
Dublin CA
FCI Dublin is a former federal women’s prison (SF Bay Area) shut down in 2024, following years of horrific staff sexual abuse and brave organizing by survivors. The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) now plans to transfer FCI Dublin to General Services Administration (GSA) which is scouting for ICE detention space in Northern California.
BOP published an environmental assessment, a step in the transfer process. There is comment period, which ends at the end of May. The ICE Out of Dublin Coalition is asking us to submit public comments. Tell the BOP: keep FCI Dublin closed, and keep ICE out!
Here are instructions on how to submit a public comment, talking points and additional background. Please do it by May 31st.
