On Thursday August 20, 2026, 6:30 PM Pacific time, we will discuss the book:

The Future is Peace by Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon
Published 2026 Available in print, paperback, at libraries, on audiobook and Kindle. 217 pages.
The book is a powerful memoir and gives hope in a time of despair. Co-authored by a Palestinian and an Israeli who both lost family members to the regional conflict, it details their shared journey across the Holy Land and advocates for empathy, forgiveness, and mutual recognition. The book serves as an urgent rebuttal to violence, challenging the idea that war and bloodshed can ever create lasting security. The authors refuse to give up the hope that the land can be shared and people can be cherished.
A Zoom link will be sent the week of the book club meeting if you register!
